Alma Brown, 97, heard the call of the Lord on Jan 10, she found peace at the end of the day, she turned her back and left it all; she could not stay another day. Service of Celebration will be held on Thursday, January 18, at 11am at the Rising Star Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Serenity Funerals on Wednesday, January 17, at 7pm. Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her children, Larry D. Johnson and Woodie Ford, Jr., (Clarine); grandchildren, Baribus Braziel and Aundre Ford; one great-grandchild and one great-great grandchild.
