Mrs. Annie Ruth Sanders Smith, a retired LVN, moved from work to reward Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, in Marshall. Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Pilgrim Valley Missionary Baptist Church, 4800 S. Riverside Drive. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. You may visit Mrs. Smith as she lies in sweet repose from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Serenity Funerals & Cremations. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 3001 Angle Ave., where she was 'First Lady' for 19 years with her husband, the Rev. James W. Smith.
