Austin Pointer Greer, 84, a retired machinist for T&P Railroad, peacefully transitioned from life to eternity Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013. Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Saturday in the Clarence Jimerson Memorial Chapel of Serenity Funerals & Cremations. Interment: Rose Hill Cemetery, Cleburne. Visitation: You may visit Mr. Greer noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Survivors: Children, Darrell Greer (Stephanie), Christine Ashcraft (James) and Frances Carr (Will); brothers, Kenny and Nelson Greer; sister, Diane Greer; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
