FORT WORTH -- Billy Joe Solomon, 66, departed this earthly home and made the transition from this life to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Rest M.B.C., the Rev. Rufus Huckaby, pastor. Visitation: Noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, followed by a wake until 8:30 p.m., at Serenity Funerals and Cremations. Survivors: His children, Billy Jr., Twynette, Shaphette and Jennifer Solomon; his mother, Dorothy Rutherford; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Luvester, Karen, Adrianna, Alfreda and Lawrence; and a host of other family and dear friends.
