Catherine was born November 10, 1944 in Natchez, Mississippi to Stanley and Drady Charleston Moore. She worked as a retail clerk for Fred Myers Grocery Store in Anchorage, Alaska and she retired in 2001 after over 25 years of service.

Survivors: sons, Ben Eppenger, Jr. and wife Starr and Reginald Wright; daughters, Gloria L. Haywood, Rhodell Eppenger, Debra D. Eppenger, Joyce Henderson and Kimberly Smith; grandsons, Clifford C. Haywood, III., Armond Eppenger, Benjamin Robinson, LaRun Robinson and Daniel Robinson; granddaughters, Christina Haywood, Kheonda Eppenger, Tesha Eppenger, Selina Anderson and Kayla Robinson and a host of other relatives and friends.
