Mrs. Christina Minnie 'Tina' Blackmon, 70, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, entered into rest peacefully at her home Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at New Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 2600 E. Rosedale St. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: You may visit 'Tina' as she rests in repose noon to 8 p.m. Friday in the Jimerson Memorial Chapel of Serenity Funerals & Cremations. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Survivors: Daughter, Lana; sons, Edward and Andree; brothers, Alonzo and John; sisters, Inez, Rosemary, Valerie, Carolyn and Cynthia; stepbrothers; stepsisters; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
