Obituary

Edward Don Woodard was born March 31, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas to the parentage of Edd Woodard and Etta Ruth Briscoe.

He was a lifelong resident of Fort Worth and attended the Fort Worth Independent School District where he was a graduate of the I. M. Terrell High School.

Edward accepted Christ as his personal Saviour and was baptized. He attended Anointed Word Ministries Church. He loved to fish and barbecue and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks fan.

Mr. Woodard was employed by Lockheed Martin for over 27 years and later retired due to his health. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, they were the light of his life. He loved them all.

He met a lady by the name of Adrienne Greer and a courtship evolved. They remained a loving couple until the Lord called her home. Edward and Adrienne had their own kind of “Love Language”. If you saw one, you would see the other. Edward always his own way of doing things, “Edward Don Style”. Everybody knew that!!!!

On Friday, May 5, 2023, Edward Don Woodard transitioned from time into eternity. He is preceded in death by: his father, Edd Woodard; mother, Etta Ruth Briscoe; wife, Adrienne Greer and granddaughter, Jenette Greer.

Those left to cherish his memory: children, Andrea Michelle Woodard, Tiffany Greer (Yoshio Williams) and Courtney Jackson (Christopher); grandchildren, Trevoy Woodard, Lyric Sanders (Charles), Chasity Jackson, Caleb Smith, Shalyn Greer, Donovan Jackson and Sariah Jackson; great grandchildren, Layla Sanders, Charity Sanders and Saige Sanders; aunt, Ella Ross Sanders and a host of other relatives and friends.
