FORT WORTH -- When God has called and I have answered, do not weep, for I'll be at rest. Edward Johnson III fell into eternal sleep on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, March 31, at Highland Hills Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation: Noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, with a wake from 7 to 8 p.m., in the chapel of Serenity Funerals & Cremations. Survivors: Beloved wife of 19 years, Jocelyn Johnson; children, Mikaela, Makenley, Makenceya and MiKenna; mother, Leatha Triplett; siblings, Broderick "Paul" Cotton, Bridgette Collins (Bobby), LaTunya McCumb (Buster) and Bertice Brooks; best friends, Jonathan "Joe" Clay and Eugene Green Sr. (Krystal); and a host of other family and friends.
