Mrs. Gwendolyn Marie Smith, a clerk for Health and Human Services Commission, traded her earthly body for a glorified body on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at a local hospital. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday, Corinth Baptist Church, 2704 Ennis Ave., the Rev. Brumfield, pastor. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: You may visit Gwen as she lies in sweet repose from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations. The family will receive friends 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the church. Survivors: Daughter, Kimbrea Smith; father, Earnest Smith; sister, Barbara Smith; nephew; niece; great-nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
