Hattie Lee Jenkins Gill, a retired electrical inspector for Bell Helicopter-Textron, heard her name being called and moved from life to eternity Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Friday at Strangers Rest Baptist Church, 5705 Donnelly Ave. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. You may visit Mrs. Gill as she slumbers noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations and the family will greet friends 7 to 8 p.m. at the church. Survivors: Loving husband, Turner Gill Sr.; children, Joyce L. Gill-Shelby (Everett), Turner H. Gill Jr.(Gayle) and Jacqueline M. Gill-Washington; brothers, Eugene (Willie), William, Benford, Albert (Alice) and Lewis Jenkins; grandchildren, Charles Taylor III and Jordan and Margeaux Gill; and a host of other relatives and friends.
