Michael Matthews Sr., pastor and eulogist. Interment: Cedar Hill. Visitation: noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations and the family will receive friends 7 to 8 at the funeral home. Survivors: Parents, Horace Sr. and Nina Houston; brothers, Lawrence Houston (Cynthia) and Milton Houston (Hazel); sisters, Virginia Ann Green (Luke) and Ruby Waites (Oree); special nephews, the Rev. Michael Matthews Sr., Earl Hawkins and Reggie Houston; and a host of other relatives and friends.
