Iola Mae Martin Young, a former cook for Poly Grill, moved upstairs to her mansion in the sky Friday, Sept. 7, 2012. Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Greater Eleazer Missionary Baptist Church, 5027 Sunshine Drive, the Rev. Robert Dowell pastor. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: You may visit Ms. Young noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations and the family will greet friends 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors: Children, Horace Young, Valarie Jones (Joe), Charlotte Young, Chyrel Young, Sharon Porter (Timothy), Lisa Young, Elbert Jo Porter, Saretha Taylor (Douglas) and Michael Madison; two brothers; three sisters; 37 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
