James Allen Gray finished his call of duty on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, and is now with the Lord. Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, May 11, at Greater Rising Star Baptist Church, 5513 Como Drive. Interment: DFW National Cemetery. Visitation: Noon to 6 p.m., with a wake from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at Serenity. Survivors: Wife: Beverly Gray; children, Yvette Wooten, Jamie DaCosta, Tinisha Thomas (Andre), Samuel Gray, Portia Taylor, Rev. Annie Curtis, Willette Edwards, Ora McCuin, Eric Lee; siblings, Gloria Marquez, Glenda Adams, Patricia Conner, Leslie Porter, KD Price, Kenneth Price; 20 grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
