Mr. Jesse James Garrison Jr. transitioned from life to eternity Saturday, May 11, 2013. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at Mount Rose Baptist Church, 2864 Mississippi, Bishop A. James Collins officiating. Interment: 9:30 a.m. Monday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: You may visit Jesse as he slumbers noon to 5 p.m. Friday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations and the family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. at the church. Survivors: Parents, Jesse Sr. and Alfreda Garrison; sisters, Natashia Cherry (Robert) and Detria White; grandmothers, Gladys Simms and Jessie Garrison; and a host of other relatives and friends.
