Mrs. Joyce Ann Williams Hunter, a retired quality inspector for Abbott Laboratories, peacefully surrendered to the Master on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at a local hospital. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, Alpha & Omega Ministries, 4255 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, the Rev. Roscoe Williams officiating. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: You may visit Mrs. Hunter as she rests from her earthly works from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors: Loving husband, Oscar Hunter Sr.; children, Oscar Hunter Jr. (Daphne), Kevin, Vincent and Monica Hunter; brothers, James Harper (Lovely), Bobby (Paulette), Melvin and the Rev. Roscoe Williams; sisters, Everjean Richardson (Hobart), Carlene Sneed, Ruby Fite and Barbara Dixon; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
