FORT WORTH -- As peacefully as the sun arose, Karen Lynette Harris-Ligon, age 56, transitioned from her earthly tabernacle to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016. Celebration of life: Noon Saturday, Oct. 1 at Serenity Funerals and Cremations. Visitation: Noon to 8 p.m. Friday, at Serenity Funerals and Cremations. Survivors: Loving husband, Leonard Ligon; adoring children, Ashley Harris, Diamond Harris and Taylor Hill; beloved mother, Sarah Harris; step-children, Christopher, Leonard and Erica; brother, Sherman Harris; and a host of loving other family members and dear friends.
