Service: 11 a.m. Friday, April 17, at Golden Gate Church of God in Christ, 4801 Wilbarger St., Superintendent Johnny Castleberry, pastor. Visitation: Noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations, followed by a wake until 8 p.m. Survivors: His loving wife, Phyllis Allen-Johnson; children, Marcus Allen and Karl Johnson Jr.; brothers, Everett Johnson (Ida) and Bruce Johnson (Beverly); grandchildren, McKenna Allen and Jaylen Allen; and a loving host of other family members and friends.
