Kasie Lynn Owens transitioned  from this life to a life eternal Saturday June 23, 2018. Celebration of Life : Noon Saturday at New Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church 2600 East Rosedale, Reverend R.A. Toliver Pastor, Reverend James Hawkins eulogist. Burial: 2:00 p.m. Monday at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: Friday Noon to 8 p.m. with the family present 7-8 p.m. at Serenity Funerals and Cremations.Left with a broken heart but with fond and precious memories are her beloved husband Derrick Owens, her children whom she adored, Bakari, Ethan, and Eden, mother, Kimberly Hawkins  father, Nathan Spencer, brother, Samuel Hawkins, grandmother, Ethel Hawkins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
