Larry Tom Franklin, 79, traded his earthly life for his heavenly home on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at a local hospital. Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Thursday at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 2267 County Road 3340, Omaha, Texas. Rev. Courtney Mitchell, officiating. Interment: Reynolds Cemetery, Hwy. 49, Daingerfield. You may visit Mr. Franklin as he rests from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations; the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
