FOREST HILL -- Lauren Ashlee Russell, 17, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, due to a car accident. Celebration of life: High Noon Monday, Nov. 28, at Lake Arlington Baptist Church. Visitation: 10 a.m. Monday prior to the service. Lauren will be lying in state at Serenity Funerals and Cremations, 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26. Lauren was a student at Oscar Dean Wyatt High School where she was a graduating senior. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing vollyball or providing customer service at QT. However, she mostly enjoyed spending time with her close family and friends. Survivors: She leaves to cherish, loving parents, Howard Russell and Rhogenia Horton; siblings, Syndicate Horton, Treshan Young, Kristlon Tipping and Jordan Hunter; niece, Kamauria Young; her dog, Zoe; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
