Lloyd Chesterfield Gardner, Jr.

Mr. Lloyd Chesterfield Gardner Jr., a retired United States Air Force technical sergeant, took his final flight Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at a local hospital. Service: The final salute will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 Meadowlane Terrace, the Rev. Patrick Turner officiating. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with full military honors. You may visit Lloyd as he rests from his labor noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations and the family will gather 7 to 8 p.m. at the church. Survivors: Those left to await the great reunion are his loving wife, Beatrice Gardner; sons, LeRoy A. Davis Jr., Perry Grundy and Kendrick Magee (Jacqueline); daughters, Lawanna R. Gardner, Tequita Garland, Carol Davis, Sharon Ivory (Horace) and LaToya Davis (Elder Daryl II); 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
