Marquice A. Waldrup was born April 5, 1985, in Fort Worth, Texas to
David Goodspeed and Shantel Waldrup. He graduated from Southwest
High School in 2003. Marquice attended Lincoln Technical School where
he obtained his certification for HVAC in 2004. He worked as a plant
Supervisor for Hollingsworth Logistics until his untimely departure.
Marquice was preceded in death by his grandfather Willie Thomas
Waldrup, both great grandparents Arthur Hewitt, Jerry and Myrtle
Buchanan and great aunt Jacqueline Buchanan.
He is survived by his only daughter Nikaila Waldrup, both parents David
Goodspeed and Shantel Waldrup, one brother Kreston Waldrup,
grandmother Alma Waldrup, Fiancé- Whitney Hudson one uncle- Brian
Hewett, five aunts-Shametra Cooper, Aisha Waldrup, Monica
Brooks(Michael), Veronica Wesley (Harry), Lashanda Brooks-Watkins
(Tyrone), two nieces Kapree Waldrup and KaNyah Waldrup and a host
of cousins and family members.
Aside from spending time with his family and friends, Marquice
thoroughly enjoyed playing video games, shooting pool, fishing, and
rebuilding and programing technical gadgets such as computers and
phones. Marquice was known for his captivating smile, respect for his
elders and discreet personality.
