Obituary

Michael Harper was born in Fort Worth, Texas to R.L Harper and Christell Franklin-Harper. He passed

away at age 65 after battling several health issues.

He attended Polytechnic Senior High School in Fort Worth, TX and experienced a short tenure as an

employee with The City of Fort Worth.

Michael was a kind-hearted man who loved his family. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Football fan and

his favorite pastime was to play a competitive game of dominoes. One of the family’s fondest memories

of him is presenting him with his 50 th birthday ring.

He is preceded in death by his father, R.L. Harper; mother, Christell Harper-Mayfield; step-father, Henry

Mayfield; sister, Glenda “Duckie” Walker; and brother-in-law, Tommy Clayton.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters, Clemmie Clayton and Barbara Gee (Reginald Gee); two

brothers, Anthony “Bill” Chiles and Danny Chiles; several aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews; a

host of loving relatives, and friends.
