Nellie Jewel Spencer, 92, entered heaven Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015. Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, the Rev. Patrick Turner pastor. Interment: Saturday in Bethel Cemetery, LaRue. Visitation: noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations. Survivors: Her loving children, Jean Harris (Johnny), Annie Harmon, Katherine Griffin and Jessie Spencer Jr.; nine grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 33 great-great-grandchildren; two godchildren; two brothers; one sister; a host of other loving family and friends.
