Pearlie Beactrice Rutherford, 81, completed her race Saturday, June 11, 2016. The race is not given to the swift nor the strong but to the one who endures until the end. Celebration of life: Noon, Saturday, June 18, at The Church at Philadelphia. Visitation: Noon to 4 p.m. Friday, June 17, at Serenity Funerals and Cremations, followed by a wake from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the church. Survivors: Children, Adrianna Thomas, Alfreda Rutherford and Lawrence Rutherford; three grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of other loving family and dear friends.
