Shamon Jerome Woods, 30, a resident of Fort Worth and a barber college student, entered into the gates of heaven Saturday, May 3, 2014. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, in the sanctuary of Greater St. Stephens Baptist Church, 3728 E. Berry St., the Rev. Michael Bell pastor. Visitation: noon to 7 p.m. Friday at Serenity Funerals & Cremation, followed by a wake service 7 to 8 p.m. in Jimerson Chapel. Survivors: Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Ariuna Williams and Shamya Woods; father, Zachary Woods; mother, Anita Sherman; sister, ShaKisha Woods; and other family and friends.
