Obituary

Shirley Ann Mosley was born on May 28, 1950 to Leon Brown and Annie Price. She had six sisters and one brother. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. She attended Dunbar High School. She was united in Holy Matrimony with Herman Mosley, Sr., having four children. She was a member of Broadview Baptist Church for 35 years. She served as a choir member, usher, announcement clerk, and church secretary.


She had a warm smile for everyone and she called everyone "baby." She never met a stranger. She loved the company of her family, reading, singing, and spending time with her cat.


Shirley was preceded in death by: mother, Annie Price; father, Leon Brown; husband, Herman Mosley, Sr.; sister, Pamela Brown.


She leaves behind to cherish her memory: children, Monica Fulton, Yvonne Webster (Pastor Frank Webster), Hermon Mosley, Jr, and Ericka Luckey (Minister Dave Luckey); siblings, Leonard Brown, Rae Williams, Debra Brown, Lola Garnett, and Raymona Peyton; special friend, Billie Hibbler; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
