Trecia LaShawn “Shawn” Jackson, 42, gained her wings on January 1, 2022. She was born in Snyder, Texas where she lived most of her childhood. She graduated from Snyder High School. She found and accepted Christ at an early age.
Shawn made the decision to start her life in Arlington, Texas in 1997 where she had three children. Shawn moved to Oklahoma in 2010 for a few years and decided to move back home. She was a very free spirited person. She loved to laugh and loved her family.
If you knew Shawn, you know she just loved from a distance but when you seen her, you always felt the love.
Shawn is survived by her parents, Linda and Stanley Johnson; three children, Zatana Jackson, D’Marrion Jackson, and Daedon Jackson; seven siblings, LaKeisha Crowder (Norris), Kendra Jackson, Renita Jackson, Amy Braziel, Brian Jackson, Earl Jackson, and Lee Jackson; a brother in Christ, Derek; a special friend, Mike; two aunts, Lettie Tippens and Debra (Kay) Tippens; one uncle, William “Pee Wee”; three sons in Christ, Martel, Kendrick, and Jason, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.
Shawn was preceded in death by her father, Robert Braziel, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Edna and L.T. Jackson.
Shawn will be missed by her family and friends.
