Velma Mcdaniel

Mrs. Velma McDaniel, 82, a former nursing assistant for Richland Hills Nursing Home, answered the Master's call Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at a local care center. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater St. Mark Ministries, 1732 Liberty St., Bishop Mark D. Kirkland officiating. Interment: private. You may visit Sister McDaniel as she slumbers noon to 5 p.m. Friday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations and the family will receive friends 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the church. Survivors: Grandsons, Johnny (Eltonia) and Corey Jeffery; sisters, her twin, Thelma Crawford and Geraldine Bennett; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
