Mr. William 'Bill' L. Battle crossed from life to eternity Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at a local hospital. Celebration of life: Noon Saturday, Oct. 27, at Beth Eden Baptist Church, 3208 Wilbarger St., Dr. B.R. Daniels Sr. officiating. Interment: Laurel Land. Visitation: You may visit Deacon Battle noon to 5 p.m. Friday at Serenity Funerals & Cremations and the family will receive friends 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the church. Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Bettye Battle; children, Carla Battle, Dennis Green and Franklin Battle; grandchildren, Ayanna Green, Tiana Battle, Ashley Battle and Michael Battle; and a host of brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
