Willie was born on December 17, 1947 in Marshall Texas to Willie and Lela McCarver Veasley. He worked as a Cement Finisher for the Thomas S. Bythe Construction Company.

Survivors: wife, Brenda Veasley; children, Bobby, Tanya and Tracie; brother, Lonnie; sisters, Thelma and Velma; 9 grandchildren; uncle and aunt, Jasper and Gloria Veasley and a host of other relatives and friends.
